Education >> Visits to local schools

Presentations and Workshops:
WildlifeSAIL sailors and scientists will visit local schools and classrooms to give presentations and workshops on the importance of the international and local conservation effort.

Teacher/Student Visits to WILDLIFE:
Teachers and students may visit the WILDLIFE catamaran to learn about the vessel and its mission. The sailors introduce their visitors to the principles of sailing and the importance of conservation. Sailing inspires team-work and a connectivity to the environment. This, in turn, gives visitors a unique satisfaction and learning experience that leaves long-lasting impressions.

Documenting Local Visits:
The WILDLIFE crew documents their local school visits through video, photography, logs, and articles on the Internet in order to expose international classrooms to each other. Children can share their experiences via email, chat, or the WildlifeSAIL.org on-line message board.
